help! what do i wear with this anthro skirt?
Permalink Closed

i bought this skirt from anthro a few weeks ago.  i am obsessed with it- SO freakin' cute!  and flattering.  but now i have a problem- i have no idea what to wear with it!  specifically shirts/tops- i have a few pairs of shoes that look cute with it.  i've worn the skirt once (now it's cold again so i have no idea when i'll get to wear it again) and i just wore a fitted green t-shirt style top with it.  boring!  anyone have any ideas for me??  thanks!

I'd love to wear that kind of skirt with a simple, fitted jacket. Pink or light blue would look very cute with it, and so would white.

i think that the top would have to be kind of plain so the emphasis can be on the (gorgeous) skirt where it belongs!!   i would wear a simple tank or maybe a boat-neck top and some heels with that skirt.

I would wear a white tank top. I would have the same problem you're having.

Just about any color s/s button up would make it work appropriate.  Add a blazer for even more professionalism.

Anti-boring?  I might pick something with a background color found in the skirt and then a small print -flowers, geometric, just get creative and start pairing it with items which coordinate in color/shade, but not necessarily pattern.
