how to dress comfortable and still be sexy??

hey girls...i always have this problem...whenever im going to do something i want to be comfortable in my outfit for, i dont want to look unsexy at the same time, ya know? so what do you girls do to be comfy but not look all slouchy and unattractive at the same time?....(the reason i ask this is bc i always go to my boyfriends house at night, after ive been at school and work all day and i dont want to lay around in tight jeans and heels, but i dont want him to see me looking slouchy every day either)...

I love to wear little camis because they are pretty sexy but also comfortable with jeans, pants, and skirts. You can always layer a cardigan, blazer, or shrug over them too. I have lots in tank styles, lingerie styles, and and tunic styles that are really versatile and have become a wardrobe staple.

I am trying VERY hard to figure this out too. I totally agree with Sfclinevandy on the camis, they make a great basic that you can wear underneath anything and a lot of them are really comfortable. I am especially fond of my crinkle cami from Target...so comfy but still sexy too.

I also tend to buy skirts in stretchier fabrics that have more give.

OK and I'll be the first to admit they are not cheap, but Alvin Valley pants may quite possibly be more comfortable than my yoga pants and they have a really really nice fit. They hug curves really nicely. I'm actually just at home right now and I'm still wearing my pants that I've had on all day.

Although, when it all comes down to it, sexiness is more a state of mind than a fashion philosophy. (OK corny, but I live by it)

I definitely have to agree that camisoles are a great option.  My closet is filled with all kinds of camis.  I have several of the crinkle camis from Target, silk and satin tunic length camis, lace trimmed cotton camis, sequined trimmed cotton camis, all kinds of camis.  I almost always wear them with a cardigan of some kind, like a shrug, an origami (those convertible wrap sweater things), a regular cardigan, a duster, ect.  Camis, imo, are sexier and more comfy than blazers (although I have a ton of those, too).  Also, camis can be layered with other kinds of sweaters, like a deep v-neck so that the lace or trim peaks out the top and the bottom.  And of course, jeans are my comfy, yet sexy, style choice all the time during the winter.  During the summer,  I tend to opt for skirts.

I find the best way to be sexy and comfortable is to concentrate on your hair and makeup.  Do a nice face and hair and even if you are dressed down you will still look sexy.  Also, I like to wear Miracle bras under sweatshirts or tees with jeans so I have an... errr... ample look.

Kind of picture a dressed down Jessica Simpson - still very sexy.

ETA: Oh, and wear stretch jeans so they are tight fitting, but still comfy; I like the look of a big sweatshirt with real tight jeans.

I was just going to post what Drew posted. When I want to look hot, I actually do my hair and makeup, and what I wear is less important. I dress pretty conservatively anyways and have a weird idea of sexy. I have some menswear-ish wool pants that I think are sexy cause they're loose, but fall over my butt really well. Umm I'm kind of into androgony, so maybe you shouldn't take my advice.

Maddie, that look is TOTALLY sexy. I think men & women agree on that. I don't really have the body to pull that look off (I would look like a pubescent boy) but if you do, you should totally work it.

oh Bri... do you have a pair of tight jeans that are comfortable? I have a pair of jeans that are great fitting, with a little bit of stretch in them (true religion bobbys) and I could live in them. if you're just kicking around at home, I think a great pair of jeans and a plain beater tank are sexy and I'm sure your boyfriend would agree. And if you're cold in just a tank, find a nice fitted thin V-neck sweater, preferably cashmere, to throw on over it.

I totally agree with you guys!  I love the mixing of super casual with a little something extra.  I think it is SOOO sexy when a woman wears destroyed slouchy jeans with a men's beater tank/boy's white t-shirt and then something really girly like strappy gold heels.

If you're just hanging out with your boyfriend, ever thought about going bra-less? My at home comfy look is jeans, a boybeater, no bra, sexy, wavy hair (just out of the shower look), and sometimes my nerd glasses. It ALWAYS works. But if you're not into the no bra thing, I'd go with the other girls and load up on camis. I have tons. I layer them with cardis, shrugs, blazers, under sweaters, button downs, everything. They sex up almost any outfit. Plus, if you wear your hair up during the day, it's great to let it down when you get casual and it gets all wavy, sexy like. Add a little eyeliner and gloss and you are set!!
