I voted 1 becasue I have them and love them! One thing - the leather totally rubbed/cut into my feet from the back strap and also my toes. I had to line them with moleskin. So if comfort is a factor, #3 looks softer.

That said, the footbed is nice and comfy. Just the leather is so hard. I should tell you that I don't know if it's my bony feet or what, but I often have rubbing and blister issues with shoes.

I also have #1 in cream and love them so far. I did notice the leather is a little tight.. but I think with wear they will loosen up and get soft and comfy. The footbed is really cozy. I like these the best.

i had a hard time deciding too but I bought the first ones.  I haven't received them yet but I should be getting them tomorrow.  i'm so excited!  I hope they don't hurt me.  I like one the best, but out of the braided ones I like the lighter pair better.

I ordered #1 in cream as well and I love them. One thing though, did anyone find that this shoe runs small? I'm usually a 7.5 but when half sizes aren't an option (like for this shoe) I always size up so I ordered an 8. I just got them the other night and I really liked them but my toes were hanging over the edge. I ended up exchanging them for a 9, a size I don't think I've ever worn in any shoe. I haven't received the 9 yet so I have no idea how they'll fit but the 8 definitely felt too small. So, I'm not sure if I just have weird feet or if you might want to consider that they possibly run small and size up when you order. Maybe someone else can give their opinion on sizing.
