help! meeting boyfriend's parents easter weekend!
Permalink Closed

So I am meeting my boyfriend's parents for the first time on Easter weekend. I am having trouble coming up with clothes that are appropriate for a weekend which will include three huge family dinners (they have TWO dinners on Easter) and Mass. I feel like all my clothes are either for work, for school, for going out or getting really dressed up. I want something to wear to church that is demure but not dowdy... and I want to look springy but not decked out in head-to-toe pastels! Am thinking this might be a good excuse to splurge on a couple of pretty cardis at Anthro...

thoughts?

I like yellow.  I know its very pastel, but I think yellow is my favorite easter color.  I have a yellow cardigan from anthro last year, it has flower buttons and is really cute.  I remember this one too and it was cute.

You could also get a cute little shift dress from somewhere like J. crew in a spring color.

and just wear cute shoes and a pearl choker or pretty earrings, with a white cardigan.

I also really like these shoes, so if you could incorporate them somehow, that would be awesome.

There they are with jeans.  So cute!
