At least that.  Nordstrom has a lenient returns policy.

Nordies rocks.  You can take anything back.  I took back a pair of Sevens after having them for 6 months because they got a hole in them.  They exhanged them with a brand new pair.

you can return something to nordstrom practically forever.  better if you have your receipt, but if the tags are on, you don't technically even need it.

I am not even joking when I say that Nordstrom accepts returns of items they don't even sell.

Nordstrom's is from Seattle and there's a (true) story of them taking back used tires because they built their store on the lot a place that sold tires had been. I think you're safe.

A friend of mine returned a pair of broken sunglasses to Nordstrom that she didn't even buy there.  They took them back and gave her a new pair!

when i worked there, while i was in college, someone in my department gave a woman cash for some items from the "kathy ireland workout collection."  which was made exclusively for k-mart.

Thanks everyone. =)

I think I am ok then, I just want to return a pair of shoes(bought last month almost 30 days) and I don't have time to go to nordstrom weekday, so may be I will just go weekend then.

I Nordies.  They are always so nice there.  I don't think I've ever had a bad shopping experience with them.  And they have the best return policy!

Yup - they took back a pair of coach shoes after I'd worn them for two months and I had no real reason for returning them except buyer's remorse.

You could have fooled me!
I tried to return a concealer of Bobbi Brown and I was denied! It had no sticker on it and I bought it back in July but only touched it 4 or 5 times. They told me its a discontinued item, WHATEVER!

It's okay, I still LOVE Nordie's!

Hmm strange. Costco I think is also from Seattle. But I've had two friends who worked at Nordstrom's who were both taught that in their training.

it is a true story relating to nordstroms.  apparently the bought out a department store that used to have a tire department (i am thinking someone like sears) and someone came back to that location a year later and they took back the tires because the store location used to sell them.  i think you can find the story on their website... i forget exactly where i read it.

You're right. I read about this in my strategic management class in college. We were doing case study comparisons between Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. Interesting stuff.
