HELP! My morning office emergency!

Ok, so I spilled coffe ALL over my left breast...while wearing a WHITE shirt!!!  I have important meetings all morning (starting in 1 hour)....here are my options....what should I do?  I don't think I should try to get the stain out in the bathroom b/c I am wearing a white shirt and I don't want the shirt to become see through when it is wet.  Also, I am in CA....so I don't have a jacket or sweater or anyting to cover it up.  Maybe I should just wait for the stain to dry and see if it is horrible?  Or maybe I should just enter the meeting joking about my clumsiness?  Should I just drive home and change?  I live close enough that this is an option.  But if I go home, I don't think I can prepare for the meeting.....This sucks!!!!!

I vote for changing into something else.  It isn't going to dry very prettily.

search around the office for someone who has a sweater?  if that's not an option, i would joke about clumsiness.  you don't want to be unprepared.  they will be more forgiving about a coffee stain, than someone who is not prepared in my opinion.  yikes, gotta love mondays!!!

Yeah I would do this too. If you try to run home to change you'll probably be even more flustered than if you just go to the meeting with the stain.

Definitely ask around to see if you can borrow a sweater. Even if it is hideous or doesn't fit maybe you can just tie it around your shoulders and it will cover the stain a bit.

Yeah, that is a good idea....I will search for a sweater.  You guys are right - I need to prepare.  Unfortunately most of my coworkers are old boring scientists/doctors.....thus, I will not be able to find a semi-fashionable sweater.  But I guess that is better than drawing unwanted attention to my coffee-covered left breast.
