Help accessorizing this very plain dress please!

So my mom bought me this dress in black  for the holidays and was so excited to buy me maternity clothes, so I have to wear it for Christmas....
It's very plain looking in black, and you can't even see the tie in front.  Any ideas on making it more interesting and fashionable??  I tried putting a pin in front and it helped a little bit.

Love the idea of bright shoes with it and lots of jewelry.  I lkight try tying the tie around back to take away the distraction and make your wiase look small.  A tiny shrunken cardigan in a bright color (the blue of the other dress) may add a nice dimension.

I like the idea of a colored textured tight, and maybe a large-scale necklace.

If you can find textured maternity tights that is, because I can't seem to online!

As long as textured tights don't have a control top then you can wear them while preggo, at least I did (the pattern looks a little distorted on your belly, but oh well no one sees it aww.gif)

I also was gonna say textured tights, either colored ones with black shoes or black ones with bright shoes, a sparkly shrug and some fun necklaces and earrings.

As a bonus you can put a more casual sweater cardigan with it and tall boots for casual outfits. 

And I think we need preggo threadstyles wink.gif
