EEEEEE!! It's my latest obsession - the 30-day shred is a workout video by one of the Biggest Loser Trainers, Jillian.
There are three levels of progression, and each workout is only 20 minutes. But it is a hard-core 20 minutes. You are supposed to do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for 10 days then level 3 for 10 days. At the end of 30 days, you can kick some serious butt!
At one point towards the end of level 3, she says you should feel like you are going to die - and she is not kidding.
I didn't really do it in 30 days (more like 50) because I need a day off once in a while and take yoga classes. Level one was easy, level two was really challenging and three was tough but you feel fantastic when you get through it!
I love that the workouts are only 20 minutes and it includes weight training, cardio and abs - I highly highly recommend it!!
Hi - sorry, I was out of town for a few days. YES I can definitely tell a difference in my body, especially my arms/shoulders - I have been wearing more sleeveles tops lately
I also have been able to add more distance to my runs, and I'm going further in less time.
Now I hope she comes out with another one or a part two!
omg I want this! I actually often envision Jillian yelling at me to keep going when I get tired from working out -- I would love to have her as a trainer! If I can get her on video that would be fantastic! *runs off to find 30 day shred*
