tapas!  cuz i love sharing food and sampling different things.  i also love love love sangria!!!  in chicago i go to cafe iberico, in nyc i go to dos caminos, and in philly i love el vez.  if not, sushi (it's one of the few meals that i can eat out and not feel HUGE after)and then there's my favorite margarita place right next door (i don't like sake).  the last is my favorite omlet place on weekends (favorite meal is egg-white omlet, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and of course cheese!) who started this topic!!!  my mouth is watering right now.

Applebees. Just kidding... I HATE chain resturants.

There's a resturant in Atlanta called Bachannalia. The menu is fixed price and changes regularly. It is simply the most delicious, innovative food I've ever had. The decor is very cool, the resturant itself isn't very big which I like, the service is amazing, and it's sorta a hot spot where famous people go when they're in town. I could go on and on.

Agua Verde - It's on the water and they rent kayaks. They have the most delicious tacos and key lime pie.

Malena's - A burrito place in my neighborhood. It's real dirty and there are always kids running around in the kitchen, but I love their burritos.

Icon Grill - Like Northwestern-American food in a real cool setting. This guy Tom Douglas (?) is a big restaurant designer in Seattle and its one of his.

Nana's - All soups!

Meditranno's in Ann Arbor. The atmosphere is great, the food is wonderful. And they have a great bar/wine list. Also, it's pretty light and vegetarian friendly. The Earle in Ann Arbor too. It's a French/Italian place with a wine list that comes in a notebook. They have a really great wine guy (can't remember the french name for the expert that come to your table to help, but he really is great) Food is good, and they have great live music. Any place in Mexicantown, I'm a sucker for Mexican food.
