Has anybody ever been able to find rain boots that fit larger calves? I've just tried to measure my calves, and they seem to measure around 16"! Holy large calves, Batman! I would ideally like to be able to tuck my pants because that's really what bothers me most about the rain- wet pant hems!
Anyway, help? The original Hunter's seem like they might be able to work because they have a 16" circumference but on Zappos some of the reviewers said they were still tight.

I have large calves as well and believe it or not Target rain boots fit me very well with enough room to tuck in my pants with room so I don't look like a stuffed sausage. I bought them 2 years ago though, so I am not sure if they still run the same way. HTH
I had Sperry's that were roomy, but they fell apart after a year, so I can't really recommend them.
I'm wearing these this year. Hideous..perhaps, but they are lined in fleece and are warmer than most rain boots. They are shorter, but I can still tuck my pants in for the commute.
I've seen many Chooka boots IRL but haven't tried them on. They seem wider. Example:
I second Target. I don't have large calves so I can't say from experience, but they do seem to be exceptionally wide. I have a pair and I never wear them because my scrawny calves leave so much room for rain to get in!

I ended up going to KMart instead of Target so I didn't get a change to check them out. I'm gonna try again when I'm at home for the holiday. I'll let you know if I do see them.
