boot opinions?

What are your honest opinions on these Camper boots?  They are $203 on zappos and I won them on eBay for $83.  I put them on, and i'm torn.  The quality is great, they're comfy, and they sort of look like slouchy pirate boots, but they just feel...so 70's.  I don't know- maybe its the toe and color thats throwing me off.  I also don't know what outfits to put with them- I don't really like them unless you can see the side.  I'm thinking a chic Kate Moss type look would be cute. I am scared if i resell them that I will be kicking myself next fall.  But right now..I'm just not in the mood to work these boots.  What should I do???

Lynnie - I am so jealous that you got those boots for $83!!!!  I have been admiring those boots since September.....please keep them......for my sake......


To answer your question, I think they would look cute with cropped/rolled jeans.

I'm def. going to wait a little before I decide.  I think I should keep them, Camper boots are awesome!  I've won two pairs in the past couple of weeks for around $75-80- I like the pink ones I won better though- they're more "me" if that makes sense.  I can def. find outfits for these, and I love them, but i feel more like i'm playing dress up with these than I do with the pink suede ones (posted in my first stylethread outfit).  Tara- I would just search Camper boots and then your european size.  I was shocked- both pairs that i'd been eyeing on zappos were on eBay for over $100 less!  I think I got really lucky though- it's not like i'd been searching for months and then they popped up finally.  I just searched the pink ones one day, and WHOA they were there, my color, my size, and they were the only ones up at the time.  It was fate!

i love camper boots. they a little different and always have cute details. i think they would look cool with jeans and with slightly western things.

i think rocky's picks are perfect.

Please please keep them. If you give them up you will think of all the great outfits you could pair them with. The color is great, the heel is great. Give it some time and you will love them.
