Outfit challenge- help me find a top for this skirt!
Permalink Closed

I want to wear this skirt to a holiday party with some sort of silky tucked in top... (the skirt is wool and the insets on each side are green satin)

any ideas? do you think it could be dressy enough (as opposed to a dress?)

thanks so much!

Ok, I really like the green panels with the cranberry tights like it's pictured, holiday colors without being cheesey, so what about doing a black satin top to keep it sophisicated:

Ok, poo, I can't get the pics to post and I'm too tired to figure it out, so here's links:

In black:

Also loving the shoes they have pictured with it.  Or I'd go with black patent or satin.

I love that skirt!  Are the insets a teal color?  And is the skirt black or navy?

Banana has a ton of silky tops right now.

Depending on the shade of green, I think it would look really nice with a jewel-toned top like one of these:

Or if you want it to look more like a dress you could just wear a black top:

You could also do something metallic:

I like the idea of a light flirty white blouse, but the metallic blouse is an interesting option above - not sure if it would work, but I'd try one on to see.
