STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Hello lovely ladies,

I just bought my ticket to join the cast and crew from an independent film I was in last summer in New York! We are going to the Tribeca Film Festival and will be in New York for a week (April 24th to May 1st). I have never been to N.Y. or a film festival before, so I am wondering what to pack. I wanted to buy several items before I went (cool/funky jewelry, cowboy boots, a white eyelet dress, and wrap cardigan- the ones you can wear several different ways), but need to know if I should just wait until I get there. What do you think? There is a possibilty that we will be meeting with a really well known director and two big name actors- this is my dream come true and I want to wear something that expresses my uniqueness while also looking polished. My dilemma is that I do not have a lot of money to spend, so I've been looking on ebay and in stores like Marshalls.
