In the last month I ve gotten dark circles under my eyes. I sleep at least 8 hours a night (usually anyways) and I drink lots of water (actually, i drink water exclusively). How do I get rid of them? Do I need to go to a doctor??
Thanks for the help girls

hey girl, i have the same thing, but mine is cuz the skin under my eyes is super thin so the blood vessels show through.  i look like i have two black eyes sometimes in certain lights (i know i'm probably exaggerating just a tad) and it really annoys me!  sorry i can't help, i can only sympathize...  sounds like urs are different anyways if u just noticed them a month ago.

I have this problem as well.  About 6 months ago I started using Lancome eye cream (metallic blue canister) - the lancome site isn't working right now so I can't post a link....

Anyway, it has really made a difference.  When I went home for X-mas, my mother was amazed at how great my eyes looked.  It is pricey though (I think $50-60, but lasts quite a while).

I think you have to continue to use the cream.  But I do honestly think it is worth it.  I have also read that dark circles sometimes indicate a vitamin deficiency - vitamin K I believe.  But you would have to check on that.

I asked my dermatologist about my dark circles, but unfortunately it was after I started using the lancome cream.  She said that my eyes looked great and that I should continue to use the cream that I thought was working....maybe you should ask your dermatologist?

I have them too, and I've been using Kiehl's Avocado Eye Treatment, and I've noticed that they are getting a little bit lighter.  I also use Laura Mercier concealer.  It's the best.

The combo has been working for me.
