I've decided that i really want these sandals. As I've mentioned, I'm going to Vieques and will need a durable sandal. I really wanted gold, but I hate how this year's model comes with that annoying clear plastic part! The ones above are at Intermix and are completely leather (sans ugly clear plastic).



so question: Should I get the first ones from Intermix or get a completely different shoe? I'm open to options but would like metallic gold/bronze/pewter that is durable... no thin flip flops!

What do you ladies think of these other options? Too flimsy?

You probably already know how I feel about these shoes since I posted recently about my own search for them!  Get them, please, for me.  (Is there some way you can talk me into getting them too?) 


I'm also not a fan of the plastic part of this year's version, so I'd be inclined to get the Intermix version.  It's hard to tell on my computer - what color are those?  Can I order them online?


Of the other sandals you posted, I also love the Bernardo ones.  They don't look flimsy to me.

oooh LA Gal! Yes! I was trying to remember who was the one who had posted about the KORS shoes. The ones from the top are from Intermix. They are a dark dark bronze/pewter metallic. I think I will probably get them now. I am just not as satisfied with other things I have found... but I'm dying for the all gold ones from last year. That stupid plastic thing!!

This weekend I saw the Kors sandals (from last season) in metallic pink at Off Fifth for only $40. I have the knockoffs by Steve Madden and never wear those, so I decided not to get them. I'm very proud of my maturity. The Kors ones are VERY comforable though, so I would recommend them if you're doing a lot of walking.


I have the gold Jack Rogers (I'm wearing them now actually) and they are awesome. They are really comfortable but don't give a lot of support if you have to walk a lot.


If I were you, I would still get the Kors. I think the Jack Rogers are cuter, but the Kors "birks" are super comfortable and more durable.

I am personally in love with these. The Kors are too birkenstock-esque. I couldn't pull it off without feeling like a hippy. Maybe you can? But I pick these!

Dot, the Kors sandals aren't on sale on the Intermix website, but they are on sale at the Intermix store in NYC. I'd call them and find out if you can get them for the store sale price as I was told they were on sale for a nice discount there.
