Want to help me find a homecoming outfit?
Permalink Closed

I have my homecoming game this weekend - I graduated 3 years ago and will be returning for it.  I feel a bit of pressure to look fabulous but will be outdoors and on my feet all day.  When I was attending school, I usually wore a sorority sweatshirt, jeans and sneakers but now that I'm older I want to you know, impress and be a vision of success but still comfortable.  Plus, my school was filled with tiny, blonde, Juicy Couture tracksuit-wearing, tanned women..

Any ideas before I go shopping?  Thanks!

Depends on what you are comfortable wearing and your shape.  I'm still loving a skinnier type jean (I think bootcute can make you look a little dated.)  It could look great with eith cute booties or tall riding type boots.  I love the idea of a cute knit top over it with a gorgeous wrap of some sort - either knit or a thin cashmere sweater wrap, belted over the wrap.  Or you could go with the short leather bomber jacket (like in the Lucky magazine article) instead of the wrap and belt idea.  With the leather jacket, you could throw a scarve around your neck.  Current season outfit, but your not trying to hard and you still look casual for the game.

I think something like skinny jeans, tall boots over the jeans, a longer length top, fitted jacket and cute scarf and earrings and you are ready to go!!

Maybe skinny jeans, ballet flats and a fitted boyfriend sweater with a skinny belt?
