Bachelorette party- gifts? Help!!
Permalink Closed

So, I have a bachelorette party to go to on Saturday night. The theme is Sugar/Spice ~ Naughty/Nice and we're supposed to bring fun gifts (if we want to) to fit the theme. What am I supposed to get??? I was thinking of doing something with a purple theme since that's her favorite color (earrings, eyeshadow, lingerie), but really, I'm clueless. Help!

I have always taken lingerie to to a bachelorette party. I tend to get something sexy for the honeymoon. =)

I'm not crazy about goofy gifts, so for the sugar/spice I would bring something like Philospophy 3 in 1 Cinnamon Buns.

Every bachelorette party I've ever been to, I always bring some sort of lingerie.  I'm going to my FSIL's this weekend and bringing her a really cute, frilly set.  My more conservative friend got married a few years ago, so I bought her a really tasteful cami and boyshort set from Victoria's Secret.  I'd go with some sort of lingerie - that seems to be the norm.

Hanky Panky makes a thong that says "I Do" in rhinestones.  It comes in white and blue.  I got mine at a lingerie boutique, but I know Nieman Marcus sells them.  I have given it to 2 of my friends for their bachelorette parties, and they both wore them on their wedding night!

Or you could go with "nice" since she'll probably have the "naughty" covered. For example, a vintage hanky to use as her "something old" on her wedding day.

I think it'd be cute to do two things, one thing "naughty" like lingerie and put a ribbon around it and in like glitter write naughty on the ribbon and then do something "nice" like the earrings or make up or an apron or whatever and put a ribbon around it and write nice on that. Wrap them in a box together and viola, naughty and nice wink.gif

ETA: Or you could do the same idea but do sugar and spice and for the sugar gift get something for the kitchen and for the spice lingerie.

This is actually what I was thinking. I'm sure she's going to be inundated with lingerie (and I know she already has a ton, too). So, I wanted to something nice and naughty and make tags with Nice on one side and on the other side, write, "for hitting the town" and another with Naughty on one side and on the other side, "for hitting the sheets." She'll laugh at that. Nothing is too weird or crazy for her, either.

Thanks everyone for your input. The party is this Saturday so I need to get cracking on these gifts!
