I have to type up a research paper about an art museum for my art class. My instructor wants us to put links throught out the paper. For example one would be of the main page and the rest on certain paintings that I talk about.
My question for you ladies is, how do I know that the link I put in my paper will actually take them to the correct site? And is there a way where instead of putting this in the paper -> http://www.phxart.org/index.aspx I can replace all those letters and put for example "museum" and it would still take them to that one page?
You sure can. If you are working in Word go to Insert, Hyperlink, and paste the link in the 'link to' box and type in the word you want it linked to in the 'display' box. If you hover over the word in your page it should actually show you the URL it would take you to and you can click it and it will navigate to the web page. Just be sure to test your links prior to turning the paper in. HTH!

Type the text, highlight it with your mouse, press control + K, insert the URL, ensure the link text is correct, and click ok or yes or whatever. Make sure that, when you highlight, that you include only text - - no spaces before or after the word/s.
