I haven't started a post in God knows how long (lol), so pls forgive me. I've been subscribing to In Style for about a year now, and when they billed me last year, it was $23.88 for 12 issues. Cool. Still kind of high for a magz subscription, but OK. I just received my Oct or Nov. 08 issue, w/the renewal info. on it (expires Dec. 08). THEY WANT $29.77 for 13 issues. Are they for real? That'll be the MOST I've ever paid for a subscription, so I'm just wondering if that's a fair price.

I've looked around for subsciptions to InStyle and I think they're always over $20 however imo I think close to $30 is too much. I would find out how cheap you can get a subscription and email them and ask them to match it. That worked for me with Marie Claire. Otherwise just don't renew through the card they sent you and subsribe through whoever is the cheapest.

That's barely cheaper than buying from the newstand, I would not renew that.  But I would question if magazines are going up in price since everything else seems to be doing so.

That's ridiculous.  I actually just cancelled mine after many many years.  I'm just not that crazy about it anymore.  I feel like I can't relate to it like I used to.

Ditto.  I was a long time subscriber and it just got a little...I dunno...suburban for my taste.  Everything they'd picture was very matchy-matchy and outfit-y.  I'll still pick up an issue here or there when I'm travelling, but I don't think it's worth the subscription.
