what should I do?

I am on a shopping ban.  I have been looking at these shoes for about 3 days and cannot get them out of my mind:



Dillard's   $69 + tax/shipping = $80 ish



Silver Slingback, $44.00 Spiegel  $44.00 +tax/shipping - coupon code = $45 ish



That is about $125 ish.  Even though I won't wear them until about the middle of March and there is a possibility of a sale--I want them now!!!!    Do you think I ought to just bite the bullet and order them since I know I want them?

I'd give it a full week, and look around at other things. Then pick the ones you truly want the most. Just MO

there might be a possability of a sale, but do you think they'll sell out? I let myself break ban if I think something won't be available when I can shop again (I've already had a few things sell out on me this season).


Also, I really like the first pair. The second pair is cute, but pretty standard so you might be able to wait on them since you'll be able to find something similar if those particular ones sell out in your size.

I love love love love the blue ones so I think you should get them. You should wait on the silver though. They're pretty basic and I think you'll be able to find something similar later. I haven't seen others like the blue ones.

Get the blue shoes.  They are really pretty and unique.  The silver ones I would wait on unless you have someplace you are going to wear them to right away.  My feeling is that if you go to zappos.com a couple months from now and do a search for silver shoes, you will find something very similar at any time.

With both Dillards' and Spiegel, I don't think they'll go on sale before the end of March.  Dillard's usually takes a full season to really put things on sale.  I'd wait a week or two and if you still really want them and think they'll work well with your waredrobe then I'd get them.  I don't think you really run the risk of them selling out.  I've never had Dillard's sell out of a shoe in my size that I wanted and I have a pretty popular shoe size (size 7).  Even if my store sold out, they could locate it at another store.

I have dealt with sell-outs online with shoes far too many times to recommend that you wait to buy the blue ones--they are way too cute.  I might buy them for myself!  But like the others said, the silver ones are pretty basic, wait around and you might find an even better deal.

I always tend to wait to long for shoes to go on sale. Then I lose out. I would get the teal ones, but wait at least a week to make sure you truely want them.

Thanks everyone.  I am probably going to wait until I go to Dillards.  The nearest one is  an hour away.  If they are not on sale by Spring Break when I go on my shopping trip, I will probably get them then.  I have been trying to calm myself down about them and not be rash and order them too quickly.  Although, I know I can't wait until the end of the season. I will probably end up paying full price but at least if I buy them in the store I can save on shipping.


I just really have an attraction to those silver ones.  I just wish I could find a  Spiegel coupon code that would work.

the blue peep-toes are adorable. I think you made the right choice by waiting to go to the store rather than pay shipping.
