what to wear for an interview at a night club??

Next Tuesday, there is a job fair at Shrine at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods.
I've never applied for a job at a place like this, and was just wondering what you might suggest.
I'd be trying for a bartending or cocktail waitressing spot, if that helps at all.

from experience, I know that clubs like to hire attractive, personable people for waitstaff and bar positions.  That said, I would not dress like you're going to a club, but would dress simply in something that is very flattering, like great pants, a white shirt and maybe a little jacket (or just the shirt may be fine), and heels, or possibly a simple sheath dress with boots (temp permitting wherever you are.) You want them to be able to envision you in that role wearing their uniform (I'm assuming this is not along the lines of hooters or anything wink). Their uniform could be simply black pants, tux shirt, and black bow tie, among other pant uniforms.

good luck!

Dress + boots is a great suggestion, or pencil skirt. Look fierce! Upscale!

Thanks for the ideas! Would love to hear more, especially if you work at a place like this! :)

I agree with pencil skirt and heels - the better you look, the better you will be treated and the better job. Hair up, in a professional pony tail or bun too, if it works with your style.
