I have been out of the suiting world for years now, so I am a bit lost :) I need help with finding some fashion forward suting that is not old lady or to conservative.

My area in SoCal is fairly casual - you might be able to get away with a nice jacket/skirt combo that is not an actual "suit" depending on where you live.
