Work Shoes
Permalink Closed

Ok so I've realized I own no appropriate shoes for work. They're all open toe/sandals or 5 in CFM Louboutin's. So in addition to a work wardrobe (which will come in another post) I need to by new shoes that I can wear to work. Still want to be fashionable though not frumpy. So looking for a midsize 2/12 inchish heel, possibly thicker heel instead of stiletto, maybe not. Need one that must be black and another neutral to start. Since I have a LOT of shopping to do I'd like to keep the price reasonable. The more under $300 the better. No Nine West and no Aldo though. They both kill my feet. Anything else I'm open to. TIA and Help!

I'd look at the Cole Haan Nike Air shoes. They are under $300 and are pretty comfortable heels. The styles tend to be worky. I picked up a pair last yeat off SmartBargains for about 1/2 off...

Collette - These Steven shoes are my favorite heels to wear to work: basic pointy toe shoes with a 3" or less heel. They look very chic and go with EVERYTHING. I will also add that I run around a lot at work and I do not have any issues with comfort with this type of shoe. I work in Facilities and we have 14 floors in our building so on any given day I am booking up and down several flights of stairs, running around on a trading floor, climbing on stuff, or climbing under desks. Very glam, HA!!

I second Cole Haan.  I also think Circa Joan & David is a comfortable brand, and they offer alot of high-quality work appropriate things.  Nordstrom carries quite a few smaller European designers that make cute and comfy things.
