Quick shape up?
Permalink Closed

I'm going on our Hawaiian vacation in 5 weeks and I've been slacking. I haven't worked out or done yoga all summer. I'm feeling a bit bloated and flabby, especially in the tummy and thigh areas.

Does anyone have a diet and/or workout plan that will help me feel less bloated and more toned in a short period of time?

ETA: darn it, I miscounted, its actually closer to six weeks. Oh well...thats an extra week to tone up

South Beach! It works pretty fast and you feel much less bloated. But you have to stick with it once you get to phase three or you'll gain weight again. But really, the plan is very realistic and fairly easy to maintain. It's the first two weeks that are tough.

I'd actually recommend doing 8-minute Abs for the tummy area. I generally show a difference in just one or two days, there's a definite immediate tightening up. Course, I never actually keep up with the exersices for more than a week at a time before I get lazy about doing them, but within five weeks, doing the 8-minute Abs each day, you should have some rock hard muscles!

There is 8-minute Legs but I haven't noticed as good or fast results. But my thighs would need a lot more work than yours!
