Sea Dragon pics...

This is the Sea Dragon (necklace/belt) I had made from www.spacemermaid.com - it's not *quite* finished yet but she sent me these pictures. I love it!! Any ideas on how to wear it? (yes, I posted the pics on Dogster - I will delete them in a few hours, I forgot my Photobucket ID...heh). It's braided suede decorated with little charms, beads, crystals etc (kind of hard to see as the pic is small) and coloured yarn at the ends.

cc - the ring actually gets a lot of wear. It's a great way to jazz up an otherwise tending-to-the-staid outfit, and it always gets noticed. I even had someone roll down her window at a red light and ask me where I got it (I had my window down and my arm out the window, briefly). I tried to tell her the website before the light turned green!

I LOVE that! I was expecting a picture of a real Sea Dragon (one of my favorite marine creatures, I'm a HUGE nerd)...


I like to dress like a hippie (which I don't think is really your style, but anyways) so I'd wear it with something like this...

Maddie - I love the outfit you posted - that's exactly the kind od top I envision wearing it with - something simple. I also want to wear it around my waist during the summer at the beach (with my bikini).


I Love Choo - You are NOT kidding. Me browsing the Spacemermaid website is the proverbial kid-in-a-candy-store scenario. I had a custom ring made that looks like a combo of these two:




(I have a picture of it on my hand but am currently too lazy to do the Photobucket thing)


I also have the bird ring:


Drew - I am not aware of any official discounts (it's a one woman operation as far as I can tell), but let me just say that the ring lived up to its anticipated awesomeness in every way. It's one of the very few custom pieces I own and is quite special to me.


I've seen a preview of the spring collection and it's utterly droolworthy. I'm going to go broke, but I'm going to have awesome jewelry in my cardboard box!!

The Sea Dragon is awesome! And so is all the other Space Mermaid pieces...too bad there is no way on earth I can justify wearing them to work or else I'd be getting a custom ring for myself!


BTW, Mia, is your ring really heavy?

Lilykind - it's heavier than a small, simple ring but it isn't "heavy" - I can actually see from the pictures where it would like it was heavy but it isn't.
