Really nervous about interview

I have an interview later today and I am super nervous because I feel the stakes are very high. I'm overseas and don't have a visa to work here. I've had many firms and recruiters contact me after I've sent them my resume, but after they find out I don't have a visa, they usually aren't interested in interviewing me. I'm overqualified for this position, and it pays half of what I currently make, but I think I would take it if they offered to sponsor my visa.

Any advice on how I can relax? Or how I can convince them that taking me on would be worth their while in sponsoring me? 

I just realized this should probably go in career. But it's more about my mental state ... smile.gif Sorry, D!

Good luck! If you are that overqualified and the pay is so low, I think it would silly of them NOT to sponsor your visa!

Good luck and keep us posted! Sounds like a win-win. They'd get you for cheaper than you're capable of making and you get the visa.
