Ok, I probably should have done this before I bought them, but I just ordered these:

James Jeans

Does anyone have them, or know how they run?

TIA!

I have a pair of the cords and they run the same as the jeans in terms of sizing, imo.

O/T but whoever took that picture should be shot...it looks terrible.

The picture was what got me worried!!

I've never worn TR jeans, how do they fit?  I'm quite curvy.

rcm - I am curvy as hell (32D-24-36/37, approx.) and the TR jeans are the best I've ever worn for my body type. Check out the jeans thread in the Style Polls section - I think there was a bit of a discussion of TR going on there - the straight girls AND the curvy girls both love 'em!

What website is that pic from? I've been there before and noticed that they somehow manage to make their models look like they have munchkin legs *as well as* like they are bending over slightly, in a sort of constipated looking way. It is SO not flattering. They seriously need to re-think that.

ha!  that photo is from shopintuition.  as part of my shopping ban failure, i ordered TR Joey jeans from there (um, last week and have yet to hear from them re: shipping, AND i emailed them this morning, no reply).

I tried them on at Neiman's and they fit me great!  I am very curvy as well.  They are super low rise (for me anyway), but somehow they work.

Thanks girls!! You've put my mind to ease about the fit.  You guys are SO helpful!

The picture is from ShopIntuition, and I had reservations about ordering from there because I've yet to hear anything good.  But I really need some cute non-denim pants, and they were the only place that had my size and a discount.

I don't have the cords, just the jeans. but since someone here says the sizing is the same on the cords as the jeans... the jeans run a little small - I got them 1 size bigger than normal. but one pair, the joey twisted flap jeans, stretched out so much after I wore them, I could've gotten them in my normal size, although they would've been a little tight in the legs. they're a little big in the waist and butt now. they didn't shrink back after washing, either.

I own the jeans and tried on the cords. I'm the same size in both of them. I'm pretty curvy too (36C-27-38 approx.) and these are among the best fitting jeans ever. They're low, but since I have a shorter torso, the rise isn't that low on me (most ultra low rise jeans hit right below my bellybutton).
