yay!  Is your back still in one piece?  That's so much snow!  We got a lot here (I live near Chicago) but nothing like on the East Coast.

luckily the snow was light and fluffy so it wasn't that bad. I had a snow drift in my yard as tall as me! Our state is in a "state of emergency" everything is closed. All the schools, all public buildings, the malls, and it was suggested that all private businesses close too. I had no work! yay! I had a snow day, I felt like I was back in school! :)

That's nuts!  I would love a little snow our way once in awhile, but that's crazy!  80 degrees here in Phoenix today.  Guess I wouldn't do so well shoveling snow in flip flops.

How many total inches did you end up getting? 


And I thought it was bad when I got 16.5 inches...You have a tunnel!

ahhh so much snow!

i decided to go out during the height of the storm and walked to the east river and i could barely see the 59th street bridge (just 4 blocks away) and could just make out the outline of buildings across the river in queens!
