Clubbing outift help please!

First, I apologize if this is too broad of a question, but I just don't know where to start..

Anyways, I'm going to a gay club in 2 weeks and basically, I just don't know what to wear.  I don't really have any winter "going out" clothes, mostly because I don't go out that much.  I have a couple of skirts, but they're mini skirts, so I'd freeze wearing them right now.

I'm straight, so getting super-sexy isn't a factor, since at a gay club, I won't be tryin' to impress the guys

I know I don't want to wear a lot of clothes (layers) since I'll be dancing all night and will be getting pretty sweaty.  I do want to wear pants though, although I'm open to cropped/capri pants.  I also want to be wearing sandals, because of the aforementioned sweating factor.  Heels are fine, but no more than 2"-2 1/2", since I will be on my feet all night.

As of right now, I've thought about wearing these jeans:

and possibly getting these shoes:

I have no idea what kind of shirt I would wear, other than I keep gravitating towards billowy types of shirts, and not completely fitted.

But I'm not really sure about any of this, so does anyone have any other suggestions?  Any help is appreciated..Thanks!

Gah, I keep forgetting things, but I should mention I don't really want to spend a lot of money on this.  I'll spend around $30 for shoes if they're really cute, as long as the shirt is cheaper (Forever 21 or similar).

I think you're going to want to be a little more dressed up than that - even for a gay club (you'd probably get worse looks for dressing badly from the gay guys than you would straight girls!).  Here are some things that might work:

Sequin Trim Surplus TopDouble V-Neck Tunic

OK, I cannot make the pictures work. I need to get my techy-geek friend to show me how again. So I can't show you any ideas, but I would try a simple camisole from Target or Victoria's secret with the jeans and heels. Or, even cheaper, layer two thin white wife beaters (a lot of people like to buy boys Hanes from Target) over jeans, add a chain belt and bright-colored heels (target or payless should have some sort of bright colored pump). Heels are key.

The outfit you posted would be cute for a night out with friends, but I don't think it would go over well at a gay bar. I once wore this really cute, pink sweater with jeans and boots to a gay bar, and my friends wouldn't dance with me. Actually, I couldn't even order a drink at the bar because the bartender kept ignoring me. It was embarrassing. So I sort of learned my lesson about looking too preppy at Wednesday nights underwear modeing face-off.

I'm probably going to need something with an ankle strap since I really can't do slides or pumps.  Especially since I'll be drinking...

I think those sandals are much too casual to wear to a club.

I love the first green top that Lmonet posted.

here are some other top options:

I love the green shirt! I think it would be a very cute outfit with those shoes.

the second top I'm not crazy about because I don't like tie-dye and hems like that.

I'm going to go to the mall after work and hopefully that green shirt exists at the Gadzooks here.  I hate it when I find something online and then can't find it in the store!

Now, any recs for good quality silver, strappy sandals, no more than 2-3" heel?  I know I have those ones I posted above, but the quality is kind of crappy (part of the footbed is peeling away; can't see it once the shoe is on, but still...).  If I can find a more shiny silver shoe, I might buy that too...
