Need Help Finding WEDGES *Updated*
Permalink Closed

Hi Girlies! Sorry to be MIA but the bid [wedding] day is in 3 weeks and I leave in about 2wks.   My bridesmaids have been SO passive about their shoes.  Waaaay back about 7 months ago I told them they could pick a same color any style shoe to wear.  I advised them wedges would be best since they would be standing on the grass.   They told me they wanted to wear the same shoes and not wedges - it'd be OK - they'd just lean on the front for our short ceremony.  Fast forward 6 1/2 months and they re all sinking in their heels at my tea party bridal shower and thus regretting their choice of shoes.  But als, did I mention the shoes we picked almost 2 months ago - only 1 girl ordered them - so good for them -they can change their shoes.  Just one little thing - they're all too busy and I need to find it for them. :( Dress - Bright orange shantung silk, strapless, sweetheart neckline, flouncy skirt kind of like this:  javascript:void(0);/*1216346555643*/ Color of shoe - I think any metallic should be OK.  They think a creme or beige? PLEASE GIRLS!  NEED YOUR HELP TO FIND SOMETHING! ANYTHING - so long as they can all order it in and get it in the next 2 weeks. TIA!

This is a tough one!  Banana Republic had some dressy metallic wedges a few years ago that would have been perfect, but here's all I could find....I'll keep looking...

I'm back...Victoria's Secret had some by Hale Bob but I couldn't post for whatever reason....and Zappos has a style by Delman called "Link-Mmm" (?)...hope this helps!

I really like the idea of a silver wedge with the color you mentioned..
I do like the pair travelgirl posted..
I'll try to do some hunting and see what I can find.

With orange I say a bronze/gold color would look best. If I get a chance later I'll try and see if I can find some for ya.

I really like the second in for the gold ones.
Also I looked all over piper lime and zappos and couldn't find anything that didn't have a super skinny heel (defeating the purpose) or wasn't like $400

IMO dressy wedges are hard to find, so I applaud everyone who already posted some.

I agree with FP on bronze. 6pm.com has these:

Elsie

Zappos:
Bandolino Daymona 3

Thanks ladies! Update: They found a pair Nine West "Honeypie" in Brown. I just saw a pic text and it's OK. They'll all definitely wear it again. Thanks for all your help! :)
