How's everyone doing?


Workout:  1 hour latin dance class -- which proved to me I have no rhythm whatsoever, but it was fun!


Food:


Breakfast:  Whole Wheat Total, fat free milk


Lunch:  Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs


Snack:  Whole wheat crackers, cheese and pepperoni


one mint mini kit kat bar


Dinner:  Same (it's hard cooking for one)


Weight Watchers ice cream sundae and cool whip free.

My sorority has recruitment all this week which distrubs my workout schedule! I don't know if I'll even have time to go to the gym tonight. If I have time, I'll do biceps and back. If I have more time, I'll do 45 minutes cardio.  Oh, I got SO excited last night.  After my run, this guy approached me and asked me if I competed in running!  I just started really getting serious about running not too long ago, so it was SO exciting for me! None of my friends/family are into fitness, so it's good to hear from someone that your doing a good job!

This weekend I was AWFUL! It included all of the following: hot wings, chinese food, meatballs, jumbo cheese ravioli, many many skittles, cinnamon bun, belgium waffles, martinis...one splurge led to the next! it was a disaster!


But I managed to get my fat butt to the gym every day! Yesterday I did an hour of cardio and an intense leg workout! ;)

The only thing exercise related I've done since Thursday is buying new running shoes. But I've been eating well and hopefully will get to the gym tonight for a run and a little 15 minute abs class.

It seriously frigid here today, so if I brave the extra time outside for getting to the gym, I will be proud of myself!

I've been bad all weekend.  I had kinda knew I was going to be since I was going to NO and I never eat well down there.


So I got back on the bandwagon yesterday eating wise but not exercise wise.


Breakfast: Sara Lee bagel (new ones - vg), small banana


Lunch: Ham & Cheese sand w/lettuce, choco pudding, strawberries


Snack: pineapple and apple


Dinner: Chicken spagetti, corn, salad


Will either do pilates or walk tonight but it is freezing cold today (just today though)!

I'm really happy I lost 4lbs since I joined Weight Watchers online! It's pretty exciting.... Unfortunately, I've just been in bed the past 5 days trying to get over this cold/flu thing, so I haven't been able to get to the gym. It's disappointing... they just installed tvs to all the cardio machines!

Yesterday I was bad and ate a cream puff (but remained in my daily pts range). I still feel bad about it, but we had a Beard Papa gift certifcate... so I had to use it!

yesterday I did a hip hop class and followed with a kickboxing class.  I truly sucked at the hip hop class, I felt like such a dork.  Kickboxing was awesome (I do the kind where you actually punch and kick heavy bags) and my whole body feels it today.  I'll be doing KB again today.


p.s.  While the hip hop class was in session this guy that I've had a crush on drops by to watch the class which only made me feel like an even bigger dork!!  Why me?  I wanted to crawl under a rock.

Breakfast:  coffee and carb well bar


Lunch:  Lean Cuisine Three Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni and Jello Fat Free pudding


Snack:  Yogurt


Dinner:  not sure yet


Workout:  40 minutes cardio 20 minutes weights

morning ladies... i ate out 2x this weekend, once for a friend's bday & the other was a date .  first time i ate a shrimp appetizer with basil & olive oil & a mixed greens salad w/ balsamic vinegarette (sp?).  second time i ate a grilled chicken salad w/ roma tomatoes & zucchini & balsamic vinegarette.  (i'm allowed to eat poultry this week so the chicken was ok).  oh, & i went to the gym friday & sunday (skipped saturday due to busy-ness) & did a one hour walk on monday.


now for today:


breakfast: raspberry fool (raspberries, non-fat plain yogurt, & honey)


snack: orange


lunch: grilled veggie on whole wheat pita (i can have whole wheat this week!)


snack: kiwi


b4 gym snack: carrot


dinner: veggie & salmon kebabs (marinated overnight in olive oil, white wine, fresh rosemary, & lemon juice)


workout: 20-40 min cardio (depending on the line), leg machines (did arms sunday)


p.s. when i was doing arms on sunday i saw my neighbor who's a trainer at 24 & he looked at my form disapprovingly & said "why don't u come in sometime this week & i'll show u how to use all the machines".  i guess i should feel lucky for a free training but i just felt like a loser for not doing it right to begin w/.

Well, I was pretty bad this weekend.  I didn't make it to the gym once.  I did do a lot of running around and cleaning though, so that burns off some calories.


I'm back in action today though!!  I'm hitting the gym tonight and will do abs, back and arms and some cardio.


For meals:
-Bfast: Syntrax protein shake
-Snack: didn't really have one, but I was slightly naughty and ate two mini tootsie rolls:(
-Lunch: small Lean Cuisine
-Snack: haven't decided yet, probably a peach or an apple so that I can get my fiber though
-Dinner: Low cal tacos.  I got the recipe from shape.com and it is soooo yummy.  I make them with 96% lean ground sirloin and I don't eat cheese so it is basically just protein and veggies.
-Snack: not sure.  Probably a VHT chocolate protein shake.

So yesterday, I did 1 hour of cardio on the treadmill. As far as food goes, I stayed within my calories, but not all that healthy:

Breakfast - running late, so had to grab a fat-free muffin; coffee

Meal #1 - 1/2 sandwich with a hard boiled egg on whole wheat bread

Meal #2 - another fat free muffin!!!!!

Dinner - homemade mini pizzas on whole wheat pitas; yogurt

The homemade pizzas are awesome! I use those little whole wheat pitas as crust, then top it with tomatoe sauce, veggies, lean ham, and reduced-fat cheese.
