WOOHOO! I LOVE MY BOOTS!
Permalink Closed

NONE of the stupid Macy's in my town had my boots, so I ordered them off the website - on sale for $71.99!  They only had them left in a size 7, but I'm hoping they'll be okay since I usually wear a 6.5 in boots and these run a bit narrow.  They won't be here until sometime next week but I can hardly wait!  I got them in brown - will you girls help me make some outfits with them?  What do you wear them with CC?  Let the inspiration flow!

LMonet, I am so happy for you! I definitely think the 7 should be ok - as I said in my PM, I normally wear a 6-6.5 and the 7's are only a little bit big on me. Since I always wear socks under my boots they are totally fine.

I wear mine all the time.

Here are some outfits that I've done.
-This sweater, camel skirt and a chocolate brown velvet blazer. I felt very 70s, straight out of Klute or something.
-This sweater and olive pants.

-thick, light blue ribbed sweater, brown brushed cotton pants
-short cigarette leg jeans (so the bottom buckle is visible) with a cashmere boat neck sweater over this tank
-a brown cowl neck sweater with a nubby olive green skirt

I'll try to think of some more ideas.

What do you think of this?

I have both of these skirts - what other bottoms would they look good with?  Do you think they'd work with a mid-calf flowy skirt?

I think they could work with a flowy mid-calf skirt if the fabric was bulky and heavy (not like a chiffon or something... more like brushed cotton or corduroy). I guess I would just stay away from anything that would look too prairie style because of the modern edge of the buckles.

I like the two skirts you posted! I think they will look cute with the boots.
