I like them alot - if the dress code in your office allows it then go for it (most are pretty lenient when you're pregnant). As for tops, Anthro has the cutest empire-waist tops right now - not maternity but they'd probably be fine until the later stages of your pregnancy.

I do like those pants but not sure they would look right in the workplace? What type of job do you have? But if you do get those pants I would wear it with a more fitted top since the pants seem to be really flowy and a cardigan or cute blazer. Definately wear flats with no socks or hose. hth

Thanks girls, that helps. I think I might be able to get away with them for work although it might be pushing it a bit. LMonet--thanks for the Anthro ideas. Those are really cute and i especially like the left one on the third row down. That one would work perfectly as a maternity top. Thanks again and I'd love more opinions if anyone has any.

I think it sounds cute, as long as you're not a lawyer or a banker or something.

On a side note, my SIL wore those black, flared stretchy pants (so hard to describe....sort of like the ones party girls used to wear in the mid 90s...made out of a spandex blend) with a long, fitted maternity button down when she was 6-9 mo. pregnant. It was actually really adorable.

ACtually, I am a lawyer BUT we are given tons of leeway when we don't have meetings with clients or court (which is most of the time for me) and the other female lawyers in the office dress kind of frumpy (more causal than that outfit) so I think as long as I'm stylish and the outfit looks put together (which it might with a blazer), I'll be okay. If it looks too casual I'll just wear them elsewhere. Thanks!

I do like your friend's idea, Alb. I'm not too crazy about those pants you posted.

What I did last pregnancy is bought some tops in XL and they fit me fine up until my 8th month.
