hey! i saw in the weekend shopping thread that you had bought some of the hue sweater stockings.  i want some also, but i am curious as to how they fit around the waist.  the ones i saw at bloomies had an elastic waistband, not like on normnal tights but almost like the dreaded stirrup pants of yore.  is that what yours look like, or are they different? i haven't bought any to try on yet, so i am curious as to what they look like on.

They do have the elastic waists of the stirrup . The crotch area (sorry if this is TMI) is also constructed differently since the tights are cotton and don't give quite as much as most other tights (but they're still stretchy). They look just like normal tights on though and fit the same way IMO. These may possibly be more comfortable since they're cotton as opposed to nylon.


BTW, which Bloomies did you go to? I've been stalking the Beverly Center one in hopes of getting them there but I've never seen any.

thank you for the info--the ones i saw were at century city.  they seem to have a bigger hosiery dept. in general, i think.
