STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I just bought a velvet jacket at the Theory store--40% off.  At first I thought it was navy blue, but when I asked about the color, I was told it is a really dark turquoise. 

I can always wear it with jeans, but other than that, what color pants?  It doesn't look right with black, not to mention boring.  I didn't bother to look at what it was paired with at the store.  Anyway, the pickin's were pretty slim by the time I got there.

Any creative ideas?
