PS: Uh...and I mean the city of Detroit, not our lovely D-- just for clarification!

PPS: I'm truly under no sort of delusion that the Pens will pull this off, just excited that they are finally holding their own and that the series won't be a total disaster given how the first two games went.

PPPS: For any true hockey fans out there...just a interesting note- the BF is totally convinced that Malkin is being paid off by Russian mobsters to let Lindstrom win.

I'm here for you, D (amongst all these penguin fans hating on our team). it was OUR night to win, darnit. oh well... a red wings victory is inevitable.

I actually take the blame for their loss. My son used to take skating lessons and at the end of each session the instructor let the kids pick a sticker to put on their helmet. Well... yesterday my neighbor noticed that one of his stickers was an NHL Penguins logo sticker. Anyway I made a mental note to remove and destroy the sticker before the game but forgot. Rest assured... we had fun getting rid of the sticker today and torturing the penguin.

That was a bummer! Our household is pulling for the Red Wings too. We totally thought they had the game in the bag and then a goal with 30 seconds left? Unbelievable.

ha - I took blame too!  I was having a horrible day, and told my husband that I shouldn't watch the game because everything was going wrong for me that day... looks like my tainted aura made its way to joe louis arena...
