I am very drawn to the top this model is wearing and am thinking of making it.  What do you girls think about it?  Is it out of style, hideous?

I really like it and think it's a classic (without the balloon sleeves). I think the collared version is a little bit more unusual than the one without, so that's the way I'd go.

I could see a dressy version in shantung for skinny capris and heels, and a casual version in cotton for a denim pencil skirt and espadrilles.

I dont' really go for things that hang there without showing off a figure. That being said, if you made it I would go without the balloon sleeves and without the collar.

I don't think its very flattering on the model so I'm not sure how flattering it would be on a normal person.

I do like tunics however (similar to the top left and bottom right pictures), but think they need to be very sleek and simple to look right.

I'm not really a fan.

I like it without the balloon cuffs and without the collar to be tunic style.

I don't think it would flatter anyone, so no.

I had another thought: a sheer fabric or even washable linen would make a good bathing suit cover-up.
