black jeans???
Permalink Closed

i unearthed my black ag angels  a few days ago.  i have an on-again, off-again relationship with these jeans.  i love the way they fit, but i have such a hard time wearing them.  to me, everything looks weird with black jeans except a black or white top, which is really boring.  i guess they're easier to dress up, with a satin-y top and heels.

i'm just interested to see how everyone else feels about black jeans.

I totally agree about black jeans!

It does seem like many vendors offer black washes though.

I've never been a fan of black jeans.

I'm not really a fan. I think jeans look best blue, and black pants look best not denim!

I have a couple of slim fit ones. I usually wear grey with it or any colorful tunic type tops.

Personally I hate black jeans, they always seem to look faded to me, even when they are brand new.

I have the same love/hate relationship. Sometimes it is a nice break from my regular washes, but I only wear them with black, I also feel funny about other colors with them.

IMO black jeans are hard to wear, especially if they're faded. I can't bring myself ot own a pair for that reason.

My BF has a pair of Seven bootcuts in black, though. I've seen him pair it with a taupe button down Kenneth Cole shirt and black dress shoes, which is one of his favorite outfits.

I do not like black jeans either. They just seem dated to me but they do make me think of the song Romeo in Black Jeans....

I am not a fan of them either, reminds me too much of the 1980's and they are just too hard to wear.

Also not a fan of black jeans - it just seems that no matter what you wear them with they always look dated.

My black 7s used to be my favorite jeans, I'd wear them with tops in pink, blue, black, white, purple, whatever - they looked good with almost all of my stuff, but maybe the wash (more gray than black) made it easier to match.

I have a pair of black Citizens that I only wore once.  I busted them out for NYE and wore a bronze-ish gold-ish cami with them and it was a hit.  I got a TON of compliments on my jeans - I may have to push them into the regular jeans rotation
