I have gone shopping a bunch of times in recent weeks and haven't found ANYTHING I feel excited about.

The only stores I've seen anything cute at are Anthro, JCrew, and F21 - everything else sucks.

It isn't just you; I'm not finding anything I like right now either. I feel like we've been in a weird fashion funk since the post-boho era. But maybe that is just ME, because I really don't like tops with a lot of volume, skinny pants, 80s looks, etc.

I feel like all tops are really flowy and/or have empire waists, and/or are too long.

ITA.  Everything is really blousy on top, then skinny on bottom, or in boxy shapes.  So unflattering!

Me too! Its sooo hard because I recently started a new nicer job and need tons of work clothes. Nothing looks good, nothing fits properly and everything I have managed to buy in the past few months has been grey, black or navy.
I crave color! I crave cute work clothes! I hate skinny pants and empire waists.furious

Even Zara which is usually my go-to store for work wear hasn't had anything good. Skinny trousers do not look good for work. I feel like David Bowie. 

Anthro has a few cute things but shipping to Canada is so expensive, I haven't taken the plunge yet. I doing want to pay such a high shipping fee for ok-cute, where as if it was omg-totally-gorgeous it wouldn't seem so bad.

I agree- I've been buying so many basics lately- Gap; J crew; american apparel...And vintage + ebay.
I wonder if it's partly because I don't NEED much of anything though.  What I really need is a long spring weight jacket and I can't find anything versatile yet special enough. 
What are you all looking for?  Maybe we can help each other.
