Last year my hubby gave me this long leather coat from Wilsons except in "black".
Last night at a restaurant I saw a striking woman wearing a brownish wool suit, white blouse and boots similar to these in both style and color.
I actually have the boots I posted.
When we left the restaurant we both got to the cloak room at the same time. She had a long black leather coat almost identical to mine which she put on with the redish/burgundy boots. I thought the color combination was very attractive.
When I wear my black leather coat and it's cold I have always worn my black boots..these
Which boots do you think look the best with a long BLACK leather coat? Or..are both OK?
P.S. I would never wear tall leather boots with a leather skirt, but I do wear them with a leather coat because the coat comes off. Or are leather boots and a leather coat worn together a no-no too?
Because I'm a big fan of "all black" I personally would favor the black boots with the black leather coat. But I too have seen someone wearing the red/burgundy boots with a black coat and it looked great!
But I also like mixing black and white. I think these boots from "Baby Phat" would look stunning with a black long leather coat.
Or for that matter, your black boots with the white leather coat.
