so they're high-waist,wide leg...and I think like them anyway?  Also keep in mind that I'm only 5-3, size 0.  So what do we think?  Will they look superchic or swallow/drown me?

I'm sorry - I don't like them at all.  They don't look like they would flatter anyone and they look really wrinkly.

Aren't high-waisted pants supposed to make you look taller? They would be okay if they weren't wrinkled.

I actually kind of like them. (I'm assuming they wouldn't be wrinkled if ironed or something...) My beef with high-waisted pants are the crotch area - they give the appearance of camel toe. I think these have that problem covered and I like the slouchy look of the wide leg pant. But it might be too much all at once, now that I think about it. I'd have to see them on.

I totally agree about the crotch area--I hate all the extra room in the crotch area that some of them look like they have, I keep imagining all that extra material bunching up when you sit down, yeck.  Anyway, I think I will look into buying some high-waisted pants, but prob. from a b&m store as opposed to online so I can try them on first.
