Does anyone know what I can expect?

On the 29th I have a court date set for my divorce. Well, I have no lawyer so I can't ask him/her as to what I can expect. When I look it up on the internet it says that it is a "Trial Setting Conference". If this is what I think, why is everything dragged out so long? Can anyone tell me what this is please and what I should expect.
