Hi Ladies!  I just read an article on Yahoo money this morning about the tax rebates.  It was really helpful and I thought I would pass it along.  I was super excited to learn that because I had my refund direct deposited into my bank account, I will also receive my rebate that way by May 9th.  Woo-hoo!!

IRS Timetable for Rebate Payments

Heres the governments plan for making the economic stimulus payments for taxpayers whose 2007 returns are filed and processed by April 15:

DIRECT DEPOSIT PAYMENTS
If the last two digits of your Social Security number are:Your rebate should be sent to your bank account by:
00 - 20May 2
21 - 75 May 9
76 - 99 May 16
PAPER CHECK
If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your check should be in the mail by:
00 - 09 May 16
10 - 18 May 23
19 - 25 May 30
26 - 38 June 6
39 - 51 June 13
52 - 63 June 20
64 - 75 June 27
76 - 87 July 4
88 - 99 July 11

Darn, one week later than I thought it would come!  Oh well, at least I will know why I won't see it direct deposit on the 2nd!

I'm so super psyched by this "free" money! I'm in the first running of the bulls, as it were. I'm pretty sure though, that I'll be spending it on an armchair-type thing and a side table. And not shoes, bras, and t-shirts like I really want.
