I hope you guys don't get tired of me posting about this - I just value all of your opinions more then anyone around me!

For the KY Oaks

Navy JCrew Sophia Dress w/ Guess Red Suede Peeptoe Heels

Not Really A Flattering Picture But It Was Right Before Bed!aww

Then maybe use some brighter accesories - since there's usually a lot of color at the Oaks??
Something like this...
Betseyville Handbags La Playa de Betsey ClutchCUBIC ZIRCONIA RING WITH LARGE YELLOW STONE

I think this dress is more flattering than the print dress, and has a dressier feel.  I really like that bag with it too - it's whimsical and seems to take the dressiness of the dress down a notch if that makes any sense.

I think the cut of this dress is more flattering than the other one...plus the style is a bit more feminine, flirty...more the look I would envision for the event.

I prefer this dress over the flowered one you also posted about.. but I think its too quiet for the occasion, even with the bold accessories. Maybe you can add a bright floral belt to the dress to punch it up?

I really like this one, too.  Because the dress is slightly more understated, that just means you could go even further with your hat!

Yep, it's all about the hat at these events. I was thinking a navy hat with lots of bright floral flowers!

I dunno, it seems too evening/cocktail to me.

I like this dress much better than the other printed one. It's more flattering.

Me too.  And will you be walking on the grass at all, cause if so then I say no to suede heels, plus the suede doesn't feel very springy to me.

I agree with the other ladies about it being evening-esque. It is really pretty on you, but I just don't see it for the Derby or anything Derby related.
