How worried would you be?

I spent some $$ on a couple pieces of jewelry from a seller on Etsy.  I ordered/sent paypal payment on 3/22.  I haven't heard anything about shipment, and a message I sent her has gone unanswered.  When I've ordered from other sellers in the past, I always got prompt shipping/convos.  How worried should I be at this point?

I run into many sellers on eBay who do not return emails- -especially if they are higher volume sellers.  What is this seller's feedback like, and does she sell a lot (or very few sales)?  Maybe wait a bit longer like Kitty suggests.

I would be worried. That's a long time to leave things unanswered. I've always gotten responses from sellers within a day or two.

I would check the seller's feedback on Etsy. But I ordered a necklace from a seller a while ago that took over two weeks to be delivered. The seller wasn't super prompt about answering convos either.

I'd be worried.  Maybe they are just being lazy right now.  I'd give it two weeks from the transaction date before I started taking action against them.

The seller has good feedback (100% with 2 neutrals though). One of the neutral feedbacks said something about slow shipping. I'm hoping maybe she went out of town and didn't post it in her store. I wouldn't care so much it it was cheapie, but it's the most $ I've spent on jewelry in a long time. I think I'll take your advice and wait a few more days. Cross your fingers for me!

I would do a dispute through paypal. I've had the same thing happen to me on another site. I never got the item. If you do a dispute, you could get your money back.

Well......


The seller responded telling me I should receive my items "very soon" and to let her know if I didn't. I waited a week-still no jewelry, so I contacted her again. She said that if I don't receive it by 4/28 she'll refund me since it's insured. It's been almost a month now and still no jewelry :(

Sounds like she never sent it! Why would she not be worried about it being lost? Or try to trace it?
