So my ticker is at 21 days now! I'm beginning to get really nervous, mostly about the labor part. I've been having BH contractions lately - I guess that's just a small taste of what I'm in for though. I'm scared guys.....I guess I'm just looking for reassurance.
Soooo exciting!!! And labor wasn't that bad (at least not for me). I did eventually get an epidural after having bad back labor, but before that back labor started it wasn't bad at all and according to the nurses I was having some pretty intense contractions. Just remember to relax and breath thru the contractions. I do highly recommend that epidural though, it made the actual delivery such an enjoyable process. Best of luck and you can do it!!! Can't wait to see pics of your sweet baby girl!
Thanks FP, unforunately, the hospital that I'm going to doesn't carry epidurals (yeah, I know) so I guess they have something very similar (can't remember the name of it) that doesn't completely make all feeling go away from your lower half. The doctor was saying that he prefers it to the epidural b/c that way you're still aware of when to push. That kind of scared me, I didn't want to feel what was going on down there, lol!

Weird! Is it the spinal block that they are using? And I was fully aware of when to push, I could still feel the pressure, I mean I felt when he came out and everything, it just wasn't painful or uncomfortable. I'm sure you'll be fine though. And it is totally worth it, especially when you hear that first cry (ok, more like screaming, but it's still music to a mommy's ears ).
