I am a 38/40b and have a really, really wide rib cage and broad back and rather small boobs. I cannot find bras that fit me well - I like the thick band/multiple hooks that the larger size bras have, but it's hard to find those thick bands in b cup.

Does anyone have any recommendations? ttara?

Can't recommend actual bras but love the website Bare Necessities.com  (sigh) soooo many choices and such nice customer service.

Not ttara but I have the exact same issue and we are only a cup size apart. I have found a few that I like.

I really like this one because I HATE when my bra strap falls down and having to pull it back up all of the time. I get mine from Mervyns or Kohls for cheaper.

Hmm...by "multiple hooks" do you mean just two, or like 3/4? Admittedly, it's hard to find 3&4 hooks on B cups, but 2 hooks isn't hard at all (at least in the search I did on figleaves). I don't know of any specific styles or brands because I have the opposite problem, but HerRoom.com and Figleaves.com have great selections and customer reviews. (If you order from figleaves, sign up for the email newsletter. There is a free shipping code out there basically 100% of the time)

I guess it depends how much cuteness you're willing to sacrifice to get a wide band. For example, this bra has up to 5 hooks in the back:



but it's not exactly the prettiest thing out there.

I'd recommend Chantelle bras. I have a couple of theirs and they usually have three hooks I think. Plus, they're so comfy and nice. They're also very supportive. I wear a 40 band too, plus I have large boobs, and these bras are by far the best I own.

This one looks like it has three hooks in the back.
