wow - what a game! I thought the Patriots had it tied up... it's would have been nice for NE to have a flawless run, but it's kind of cool that the Manning brothers both won a superbowl one year after the other...

I started out neutral - I also thought it would be cool for the Pats to have a perfect season, but at the same time was pulling for Eli. I've always felt bad for him because it really sucks that he's totally overshadowed by his brother. I mean, how crappy is it to be an NFL QB and still be the "sucky" brother?
Anyway, I was expecting a Patriot blowout but as the game went on I started to pull for the Giants and I'm so happy for them, especially Eli!
I'm so sad! I would have loved to see a team go undefeated in my generation. Also I have an extreme dislike for Eli. I have not had very good experiences with him.
Anyone like any of the commericals in particular? I thought the budweiser cheese/wine party one was cute, but overall I didn't think there were a lot of good ones.

HL - Do you know Eli? If so, I'm so sorry to hear he isn't that great... I was glad to see him win because it always seems like his father has favored Peyton and I just think that is kinda sucky... I also had a bet on the game. I took the Giants and 3 points so I was sweating it at the end. Thought the Pats were overrated after watching the San Diego game a few weeks ago...
Anyway, woohoo!! I avoided having to wear a Purdue sweatshirt to my in-residence at Indiana University next week (this would have been very awkward, plus I don't own sweatshirts and really didn't want to spend good money that I could use to buy something I would wear on a sweatshirt). My winnings - my Purdue friend that lost had to change his facebook status to say how much he loves me and he had to add all the guys we work with as his top five hotties on the I'm a hottie application for at least a month... juvenile I know, but so fun!!
In terms of commercials, I liked the Budweiser Rocky one... mainly because I went on the brewery tour over Christmas break and we saw Hank and lets just say that Hank was a "little excited", so it was hilarious to see him referenced in the commercial. I remember that it was Hank because I told the friend that was with me on the tour that it appeared Hank was ready for a little "Hanky Panky". Yes, my humor is also juvenile...
I didn't really have a preference either when I started watching the game, but ended up rooting for the Giants. It was a great Super Bowl game, for sure. Some of them have been so boring, but this one wasn't.
I didn't have a preference either, but I like rooting for the under dogs. I'm glad the giants won. I don't even watch football, but I know I don't like the stupid patriots.
I don't follow NFL football (College football owns my soul) but I was definitely rooting for the Giants, if only to ensure that the Patriots didn't get a perfect season.:D
could you imagine the electricity going out right before the end of the game?
Man Makes Fans Miss End of Super Bowl

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of crashing his car and causing a power outage that disrupted the Super Bowl for thousands of football fans.
Luis Mendoza, 31, was arrested on misdemeanor driving under the influence charges for allegedly running into a power pole and short-circuiting TV reception for 8,300 customers in Brentwood during the final minutes of the Super Bowl.
Mendoza was arrested at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where he was being treated for leg injuries.
Football fans missed the final two touchdowns that led to the New York Giants' upset of the New England Patriots.
