It's a blizzard in Chicago. I'd suspect we have at least 8 inches in the city already, and my mom is saying they have 10 in the burbs. It's not supposed to end until 6pm tonight. Anyone else experiencing this?
Not a blizzard but we got about 4" of snow. It is so pretty and I'm glad we got at least one decent snow this year. But I do have spring fever... wonder what the groundhog will say tomorrow
If by blizzard you actually mean city-soaking day long downpour of cold rain. If I'm remembering correctly, we got a inch or so in early December but that's been it. I've been calling the March Blizzard since mid December though. It just feels like one of those years where we don't get snow until late March when we get all of it at once.
PS: I'm in Philadelphia.

SC33, doesn't it suck? Is it still snowing in the city? I'm in Gurnee and it's stopped for now, but it took me an hour and a half to get to work this morning, and it usually takes 30-40 minutes. I am so ready for spring...

Oh it sucks alright! It took me about an hour to get to work, instead of 30 mins. And it is still coming down in the city. Yuck!
I'm in KY. We were supposed to get a lot of snow but now it's just more like freezing rain. I hope it lets up because I'm going out of town this weekend!

We don't have a lot of snow here but we are coming off the tail end of some really horrible bitter cold. It was -30 for most of the week. Fortunatley it is getting a little warmer for the weekend.

Stay warm and safe!
Aww I'm sad. I'm out of town for work so I'm not getting to enjoy it!

Well if it makes you feel any better I don't think Fayetteville got very much, maybe an inch or 2.
We had our blizzard last weekend. I had never seen so many school closures in my life! Highways and other roads were closed for a while. There was over 50 car wrecks in one evening because we had freezing rain that created half inch thick ice on the roads (before the snow came). I think we had about a foot of snow, but now it's almost gone thanks to the above freezing temp wind storms.
I'm in Chicago, too. Even though it sucks, I have to admit it was an awfully pretty snow, at least in my neighborhood. The Loop was a god awful sloppy mess. I gave myself an extra 20 minutes this morning (my commute is 1 hour) and got to work right at 9, which was a good thing since my coworker had called in sick and my bosses were waiting to slam me with her work.
Reading this made me slightly homesick. (I used to live in MI) I've been in Florida now 4 years and I kind of miss snow days at school We have no winter, however people will wear parkas when it drops into the 60s for three days out of the year. It's been in the low eighties all week.
