Juice without a Juicer
Permalink Closed

Hello. I want to make some of my own juice just for a few days and wonder, is it possible to use a blender or food processor to mash up all the fruits or veggies I want to use and then pour and press the mash through a strainer?

I know it wouldn't be as refined of a product if I do it this way, but would it work enough you think?

Yep, if your blender is powerful enough. Actually juice made in a blender is preferable to a juicer since the juicer removes most of the fiber from your ingredients.

Rather than straining, perhaps puree your produce and add enough water to thin it out.
